Reinventing the way of hoisting your Banner Bar

The SPIDER BANNER LIFT is another new inhouse developed/produced, original product from Stromblads.

The SPIDER BANNER LIFT is equipped with an internal PRESSURE SPRING that takes the strain, produced from up/downward wind movement of the bar, off the halyard.

This minimizes the wear of the halyard.

4 sets of ROLLERS take care of the constant sideways wind movements, gently applying the strain onto the flagpole.

No sliding parts, no tearing.

The idea of hoistable Banner Bar (Banner Lift):

1. To replace a worn out flag without having to lay down the flagpole (cf. fixed Banner Bar)

2. When switching to a national flag, the lift can easily be lowered in order to remove the rod and the logotype banner. The free-flying flag can then be hoisted. The switch back to the logotype banner is equally easy.

Naval ensigna

The Swedish naval flag is a three-tailed version of the Swedish national flag. Some countries have two tongues, others none.

The variations are many, and sometimes, an Ensign is difficult to be linked to a specific nation.

Heavy weather

Stromblads new original Cobra sling weight in action during the autumn storms lately.

Banner Bar

The Banner Bar with ballbearing system, is a rotating arm that prevents the flag from twisting around the pole and therefore keeps the flag visible even when there is no wind.

The Banner Bar is designed for highhedge flags.

The Banner Bar keeps your flag extended in all weather conditions, protects your flag and prevents it from being stolen.

The Banner Bar is delivered complete with:

- White Powder lacquered socket of metal with ballbearing system available in two sizes; 50 and 65 mm

The Globe is manufactured in an unbreakable material, and marketed in two versions.

One with a short stalk, which is preferred in Europe - and one with longer stalk that are in demand mainly in United States and Canada.

The 150 mm Globe is developed for poles up to 14 m and fits our whole range of sockets, from 42 to 75 mm.

Triskelion

The flag of the Isle of Man shows a triskelion, the Three Legs of Mann emblem, in the centre of a red flag. The three legs are joined at the thigh and bent at the knee. In order to have the toes pointing clockwise on both sides of the flag, a two-sided emblem is used.

The Manx flag is based on the coat-of-arms of the last recognized Norse King of Mann, Magnus III. A modified version of this coat-of-arms is still in use by Magnus' descendants in Norway, the Skanke family.
The triskelion has its roots in an early Celtic sun symbol that was also used by many other ancient civilizations including the Mycenaeans and the Lycians. The flag is similar to that of Sicily.

Spinning wheels and ball bearings

This is our brand new, heavy duty finial - especially adapted for long poles and halyards. The design enables extremely reliable and easy flag hoisting thanks to the double pulleys. And the low friction built-in ball-bearings let the flag smoothley move into the continously changing wind directions.

Grande Armée

A "ball-style" finial is commonly mounted to the top of a stationary flagpole. This is sometimes (mistakenly) called a "truck", which is the mechanism that connects the finial to the pole. An urban legend says the ball contains a razor, lighter, and flare. According to the legend, the items were meant to be used to destroy the flag in case the post was overrun by the enemy. A related and less pleasant version says the finial should have a bullet, knife, and matches so the last surviving soldier can continue fighting (with the knife), and if need be destroy the flag with matches (to prevent it from being captured), and take his own life with the bullet.
